New Facebook live prize draw phenomenon?
It might not be new but for the last while when I scroll through a chain of videos sometimes I randomly land on a Facebook live video that baffles me.
These seem to be the online version of one of those machines at the mall where you put 25 cents in and get a random prize. Instead a “host” appears to be set up with an ordering system, people in the live feed submit their order and then get to choose a hidden prize - the person might have jewellery wrapped up with numbers on the packages or something like that, you chose a package by commenting and they reveal it live and then I presume send it to you.
I’ve seen about 20 of them randomnly over the last few months and I usually scroll past them in about 10 seconds but today I figured I’d actually watch for a bit and try to figure out what the hell is going on! especially when some can have several hundred viewers.
Anyone else come across these videos? What is it from, is it some new MLM company or something?
