I'm curious to see how they hold up both from a reliability and resale standpoint in ~5 years or so. To me anyway, that is the real test of their value. Less so with Genesis, but at least with Kia I still think too many people have negative associations with the brand for it to hold it's value very well. Hopefully I am wrong.

They probably hold up better than average if you look at their three year reliability problems/100 cars. Much better than Subaru, Honda, Nissan, Mazda, etc. and miles better than Acura.

Interesting how the Germans are improving their reliability while the Japanese outside of Toyota are slipping.

Cnet/Roadshow still love the Stinger. I still wish it was available as a wagon.

Those stats aren’t entirely reflective of reliability though, if someone has issues with their Bluetooth, or if they don’t know how a feature works that counts as a problem.

Not surprising to see Lexus on top because their new car delivery process is one of the best in the industry. Also, seeing the 911 as the most reliable can be attributed that an enthusiast would purchase it and knows how to use their car, and it probably lacks a lot of the features that a higher end merc or Audi would have.

Wow, what the hell happened to Acura?? I remember when they were solidly in the top 3 with Lexus and Toyota.

You know what the fun part is? They only started to have FI engine in 2019 RDX. Everything else is NA. And they only sell 4 cars since next to nobody buys RLX or NSX

Who would have thought Porsche would have more lineups than Acura in 2019. I don't see they will improve any time soon.

Is the only option on the CAD model still AWD/Auto? I see some markets have a RWD/manual option

Just go get a G70 if that's what you are after.

I believe only the 2.0L get paired with manual.

Brakes were warped from track action. Squeak in hatch fixed. All under warranty. Dunno how that could be deemed as a piece of shit.

I hear US dealers are discounting them heavily to move them off lots.

Is there any reason that someone would get this car over a CPO A7? A couple year old A7 is better in basically every way IMO (albeit, maybe, straight line performance).

It's like half the price, which makes it pretty attractive

I'd put up with a rattle or two for 50K
I'm talking about a used A7 (hence my saying "a couple year old" and "CPO").

Well, yes, used cars are often better deals than brand new. Only suckers buy brand new, but that's not brand specific.

Why would you compare new to used? I mean, might as well get a used Stinger, year old Stinger GT's are in the low 40's.
