No worries! What's the name of the store and where is it located? Might have to hit it up next time I am over the way? What did you buy? This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote

Aside from RC cars are there model cars where you can build them in a way that includes putting the engine together? I think most model cars I built as a kid the engine all came as one complete part.
When I used to do models, you'd have to pony up for the good quality kits to get that like the Japanese-made ones that cost twice as much as the American kits. I remember all the blocks, valve covers, headers, fans, etc being separate pieces and painting them different colours instead of having one big chunk of molded plastic in the cheaper kits. This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Being scaled models being 1/12 or smaller, you are not going to get a good replica of the engine. But when I was a kid, Tamiya is one of the better brands and probably still is. American plastic kits are all junk unless you are crafty enough to refine them. This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote

Like this kind of detail on a 1/24 kit is pretty good
