    Default Air fittings?

Hey all, just curious where people get air fittings locally? somehow i need to get from a 3/8 BSP to a 1/4 tube... seems like there's no such thing, but i am even having trouble finding adapters to switch between the 2.

    i'd even settle for a 3/8 bsp to 1/4 npt... i already have a 1/4npt>1/4 PTC tube

I would just braze with 45% silver, two brass or steel ones together, or one of each. Easy job once you locate two fittings that can fit inside each other, even extremely loosely.

the fittings should be like $5 or less, i'd rather buy the right things instead of having it blow up in my face.

Silver will hold much more than 1000 psi. It’s a common method for joining dissimilar metals and certainly more reliable than any threaded joint. If the fitting you are looking for doesn’t exist, making one is very easy. Even just double tapping a solid piece of stock.

Check out Unified Alloys they are the Parker rep they'll have what you're looking for. I'm sure I got what you need in Swagelok which is another option but that won't be cheap ether.

Greggs should have it. Make sure you know if you need BSPP or BSPT though.
