Wow is it ever beautiful! Acura knocked it out of the park! Acura is really impressing me lately. The latest TLX is also amazing, too bad they dont make the A-Spec in a manual transmission.

This is a massive improvement from acura going from the J V6 and crv awd back to sh-awd and also a potent turbo 4. Looking forward to them bringing type-s back as well. That centre console is horrid though.
I'd agree that it is a pretty jumbled mess in the middle. I like the clean look like Infiniti's Q50 dual screen but others say it's an outdated look so I guess there's no pleasing some people haha. This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote
After we have been bitching about ipads dashes, 9/10 manufacturers went that route with their cars now.
The prototype at the show looks good. Material finally catches up but the dash plastic is still on the cheap side. What really stick out is the vol knob that looks like after thought.
Probably because it was! Honda removed the volume knob the past couple years on several models and people HATED it (rightfully so)... so now its being phased back in.This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote
Exterior looks great, but that interior is brutal.
The front grille is an improvement for the brand as they need to move far away from the steel beak as possible. I don't dislike the interior as much as most of you as at least they are using buttons for the HVAC as I detest when manufactures put the controls on touch screen (I'm talkin about you Honda!).
Ipad dash looks horrible. If they are going to do that, at least make it retractable.
Those front emblems are getting huge haha, at the car show some of them were almost as big as my hand.
I wish they would make an ILX with SH-AWD and the 2.0T from the CTR. Then add that torque-converter DCT that Honda has been working on. North America needs more small AWD cars with good power <$50k.
I believe some of those giant emblems are hiding front sensor/radar.This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote
Oh man did I miss the big thread talking about the return of InRich??? Cause no one is mentioning it here and I am pretty sure that's him. Or am I mistaken? lol

It’s totally him.
It will become obvious enough as in the past he has proven he is completely incapable of containing himself.
The facade won’t last.
On the topic of the thread, would you buy it “Fully Loaded”.

No Type-S, no care. I'll happily stick with my old 2011 turbo until they come out with a type s.

If I'm not mistaken, I think that manufacturers are not allowed to make the screens retractable anymore. I can't remember if it was due to some regulation or not, but I do remember reading something of the sort. I think that's why Audi got rid of their retractable screens. This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote
Actually? I don't see what hte point of a retractable screen is. I always want the screen up when I'm driving, and who gives a shit what the dash looks like when my car is parked. I'm happier if manufacturers spend the money elsewhere like cupholders or door handles or other switchgear haha
Mandatory rear camera rule causing the screen showing the image being fixed. This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote
^ yeah, pretty sure you're right Xtrema. I admit that the design might not be the prettiest, but I don't understand the mass hate towards it either.
It's one of those thing where you really hate it when you 1st see it. Then you live with it for a bit, it's not as big of a deal. Then again, you and I both have the same interior so we are biased. This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote
Definitely going to go look at this RDX this summer, love the design, engine and glad the SHAWD is back. Have it in my old TL and it’s amazing in the snow, just wish I could completely turn it off like my previous 06 STi. Going to cross shop this RDX with the Lexus NX along with the CX9 seeing how the price point is similar.
Seeing how this engine has been out already in different models, have there been any tuning options yet?
The current 2018 RDX Elite tops out around $55K fully loaded.
The SQ5 starts at $61K as well as the X3 M40i and people will consider these models if the RDX A-Spec is closer to $60K.
