    Default Videocard prices

After hitting a retarded $280 USD for a 1050ti it is finally starting to show signs of levelling off.
    Cocoa $12,000 per ton.

Bitmain announced they’ve successfully developed a ETH ASIC and it’ll be available in a couple months. If true it’ll hammer the gpu mining scene super hard and probably cause a bunch of people to start selling their rigs

You mean a year or so. So much hype out there its ridiculous - even at this stage.

Wow, my 1060 I bought has gone up $70cad in price at Memex. Not drastic, but $70-$100 is normally the difference in gpu performance levels.

I definitely would not have dropped $360+gst on a 1060.

As for asics, guess my next 8 years of desktop gpus is mapped out. Used 1080, then used sli 1080ti's lol

The community is also talking about a hard fork to render the ASIC's useless

This is why I ordered my 1080ti the minute the founders edition was available. Have been using it for a year now and haven't lost any money......except all the money I spent to water cool it.
