    Default Android automatic auto-respond

Maybe I'm just having a big brain fart but I want to be able to put my Android phone in a state whereas it will automatically not answer calls and immediately return a text message to them. This would only be for numbers already in my contact list - a truly automatic auto-respond where I don't have to touch the phone. Now I know I could just turn it off but I'd rather have the option of being quickly able to use my phone without being bothered by others.

Probably a very simple solution that I'm just overlooking or over thinking.
    Will fuck off, again.

Android has a do not disturb while driving mode that does mostly that.

Mostly but I still have to interact with the phone. I want a sort of call forward to a return text message - I'll try out what LilDrunkenSmurf suggested. I tried a different app and it couldn't do what I wanted.

It's not the size that matters, it's the taste it leaves in your mouth.

Does exactly what I am looking for, I suppose sending a text message back to a landline is a drawback but I really do not get many landline calls.
