River Valley Red is far too good to be a buck a can.

River Valley is on for $9 a case today at the Dalhousie location, they said it should be priced the same at all locations @ExtraSlow . Time to load up the Hondas!
Wow, I thought $12/case was a good deal. I'm stuck at home tonight looking after my neice, is that going tomorrow too? This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote

Just picked up a few cases of River Valley for $9.60 a case of 12. Pretty sure sale ends tomorrow but they didn't have much stock left where I went in Panamora. They are doing the same Black Friday sale on Dec 8th for those that missed out and didn't stock up last time.
Yep me too..
$11.29 all in tx & deposit.
It was 12 / a 12 pack but an extra 20% off for Alberta beers.
Plenty left in Deer Valley next to COOP
2011 Ram 1500 QC Sport
2017 Jeep Cherokee Limited
Where's the cheapest place to pick up 100 cans of beer like Coors or Bud Light?
Gross. Probably superstore or Costco. Here's this week's superstore price.
I'd prefer river valley golden.

Thanks.
I'd take extra slows advice. might brave the weather and go pick up some
Was at the Beddington LD location today and the sign for River valley said 12.00+tax and deposit for a 12-pack, which is the "normal" decent sale price, but it rang up as $45.12 for four cases, so that's the "better" sale that @TRD_YOTA and @Nufy mentioned. Absolutely can't beat that price. Beddington location had plenty of stock it seemed.

^Sweet, glad you got the deal. It wasn't advertised or marked down at the Lakeview LD but when I asked about it they said the deal is on for sure, and no limit so I grabbed 6 cases. Also can confirm that Dec 8th will be 25% off entire store as @TRD_YOTA mentioned.
Can't get cheaper than FREE! Enjoying a Campio All Malt Lager. Campio Brewing is a new craft brewery that's opened up in Edmonton, and this particular Lager will be available in liquor stores soon. I friend gave me some that they are sharing around as a promotional thing.
It's "all Malt" and that taste sure reflects that. Almost bready. A real contrast the the current "hops hops and more hops" trend in microbrews. I really like it. I don't know what the price will be in stores, but I assume that it'll be on the cheaper end of the microbrew selection, so possibly it'll legitimately fit in the $2/can bracket. They are still finalizing the production can graphics, so some small changes may happen.

I figured this thread might be the right place for this info. Found out from a Liquor Depot employee that some locations will be converted to Ace Liquor http://www.aceliquor.ca/ very soon (he said they're aiming for before Christmas). He was told they expect all prices on good stuff to drop and cheap beers (i.e. River Valley) to go up in price which may lead to them being phased out. We shall see how this all shakes out.
