Go Flames!
Love this... especially when the media reports women bitching about male shampoos and what not costing 50 cents less...pft.
What the shit!?! I mean, way to screw the system, but what will changing your gender on paper fuck up for you in the future?
Boosted life tip #329
Girlfriends cost money
Turbos cost money
Both make whining noises
Make the smart choice.

We claw the insurance money back gradually through cheap hair cuts.
Depends on how often you get a haircut. Even though men’s cuts are cheaper, I’d suspect that men get more cuts per year than women. This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote

When we came to Canada my parents didn't really speak English and on one of my papers (SIN?) They put Female for me.. and well I had no idea till I was like 18-20 and had to go apply for EI (Seasonal Job) and they said there was a problem on my claim. Found out this little error was screwing up my claim. This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote
Ended up waiting about 3 months for my EI funds rather than like 4-6? weeks i'm suppose to wait.. (everything else had male on it (Yes Drivers License too!)
Smart idea though would do it... A+++

Wonder what the guy bought? Early 20s and still paying 3400 for insurance after all that?!?!? It’s been a while but I think that’s around $1500 more than I was paying at 21 for full coverage.
Guy does have a “minor” collision and speeding tickets. Maybe financing a new vehicle wasn’t a great choice.....
I actually reached out to my friendly neighborhood insurance broker and he said that there is lots of half truths sprinkled through that thread and it maybe not as exaggerated as the thread makes it out to be. It seems like the biggest differences come in gender for under 21 and barely any if over 25.
I am sure he can expand more if he sees this.

that thread was full of lulz.
Yea I would imagine that is the case, maybe saved 1100 his first year but after a couple years he might be very close and then be classified a female for no reason. This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote
I imagine travelling to less progressive countries would be great. Technically he probably would have to stop using men’s washrooms as well (although absolutely no one would question him).
Seems like a lot of fuckery to save the equivalent of a Big Mac meal 2 times a week. Some people find the oddest areas to try to save money.
Came across this gem,

I wonder how the insurance company would price a X gendered individual. I could see this saving a lot of money from a life insurance or health insurance perspective as well.
That's hilarious. His lack of foresight for any potential ramifications is staggering but all the power to him if he wants to make a point.
As far as I understand, being over 25 no longer provides an insurance discount like it once did. This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote

For car insurance, but I am sure it would provide a discount on life insurance and health insurance if you "identified" as a female. This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote
Does he pay female prices for haircuts now?
