Default Suspicious Email From Lonking Holdings

I received a weird email today from someone claiming to be a recruiter for Lonking Holdings. In it, the recruiter claims to have found me through LinkedIn and that they are looking for a company rep for the area.

In doing some research, Lonking seems like a large and reputable company. But the red flags are everywhere:

    - Position promises to take up minimal time and wouldn't interfere with my regular job.
    - No record of anyone visiting my profile from Lonking
    - Email came straight to my email account, which I don't think can be found publicly on LinkedIn
    - Recruiter email came from a gmail account - the most odd.

Has anyone received a similar email? Thoughts?

Well, is it a job of a type you are qualified to do and interested in doing?
I assume soon they will require you to pay a "processing" fee of some sort. Do not under any circumstances pay anything.

You realize you are talking to the guy who made his own furniture out of salad bowls right?

Yeah, I mean you’ve really got nothing to lose by a couple emails back and forth. Worth exploring, you’ll learn pretty quickly if it’s a scam or not.
