    Lower resistance in parallel will mean MORE heat. Watts = (Volts x Volts) / Resistance.

    You want the highest value resistor in parallel that will fool the computer.

    ALSO. Ensure your chosen resistor can handle the power required. Dinky 1/8 watt resistors probably wont cut it here.

    Here is how you need to wire things. Hope this tools clears things up.
