Oculus Go is at 1280x1440 per eye but only default at 60Hz, max out at 72Hz. That quite a feat to feature such panel on a $200 device. I won't be surprised it's the same 120Hz screen on the Razer phone.
Say somewhere down the road they fit a 4K 90hz panel into the headset, the rendering power you need to fully realize that would be select few that can afford top shelve GPUs. But in the interim, I would expect the next Rift to have the same screen as the Go and hopefully become wireless. The PC tether is quite annoying.
