    Lightbulb

Well I received a letter today from Vonnel Chan, SR Admin with the COC. He states they were fully aware of this road deficiency, however the Roads department had already taken reasonable steps to complete a temporary repair and monitor the location, therefor they are not liable.

Can someone please tell me where they see a temp repair in that picture

One claim per incident, or three claims for one incident?

    1) You're unlucky
    2) You're an inattentive driver on 35 profile tires.
    3) Aspen is actually a crappy neighbourhood

    So which is it?

The pothole on Country Hills near Stoney Trail that claimed my rim is still there. Good thing the city painted a white circle around it a while back that you can barely see.

Photograph the hole, post it on the 311 app, make your own notes of when you reported it. Date, time, etc.

If they haven’t made the repair in 30 days, take another photo and report it again. Same steps.

Then, if you ever hit that hole and it causes damage to your vehicle you have all the recourse to make a claim.

Looks like someone could use an upgrade to a set of 315/70R17 in their life.

So you were aware of the pothole being there the entire time? Sage Hill Rock meets Aspen Pothole?
As a Calgary tax payer, it is my pleasure to subsidize your new wheel and tires. I guess I might as well be positive about it. The lack of an F150 in my driveway has gots me down.

I've you've take two separate photos of a pothole, and you still hit it later, I think you should have your drivers license taken away, not have someone pay for your new wheels.

Its been posted before on 311. All they did was paint a circle around it. Having tried to make claims against the city in the past, I've just given up on that.

This is the new "wait for a hail storm to let insurance pay for your new roof". I need to go pothole hunting. Those BBS rims don't pay for themselves.

You probably don't live in Aspen or any of the Avenue magazine's Top 10 neighbourhoods. The city has no time for anyone else.

Haha no shit. But hey, I’m happy my tax dollars are replacing 89ballers tires.

He needs to spend more time selling houses and less time wringing his hands about the road conditions in aspen.

It's not that difficult if you are a precision driver in the ultimate driving machine.

That’s what the city hopes you do, give up.

Try picking out a hole in the dead of night in the pouring rain with multiple vehicles spraying up water.

Especially when you have 5 or 6 holes scattered across a section of road which is almost impossible to avoid in broad daylight with no cars on the road.

Maybe the city should stop being so fucking lazy and maintain their roads.

Love the trolls, you put so much effort into entertaining me.

Keep it up, your love for Aspen is so cute.
