    How does someone hit potholes so hard THREE times they pop their tires? Jesus Christ keep your eyes on the road
    Different locations across the city. 2/3 were sunken man holes with a sharp edge that are impossible to see until you hit them. Usually caused by a shadow or rain. I’m not hitting the same spot over and over lol.

    @89coupe
    Taken from CoC website:
    How to Avoid a Pothole

    When driving, look far ahead up the road. This will help you spot potholes ahead of time and steer clear of it safely.
    Always remain at least three cars lengths behind the car in front of you to allow you the appropriate amount of time to avoid a pothole.

    On a separate note from 89coupe's situation, if I damaged my wheel, I can just get the city to repair it if I post a pic of a legit pot hole and say that was what damaged my car.

    I can see a ton of abuse on this by some people.

    Y'all need some sidewall. People talk about needing an AWD for winter but then run 35 series tires without worries? Does not compute.

    This is true, but a 55 series with a 275 width is still a helluva lot of sidewall! lol!

    Some of them are pretty bad. I've yet to pop a tire but definitely annoyed and I don't even drive a nice car. If I did I would be pissed for sure. I am glad they they fixed the right lane one on Center Street South right before DT/Samis Road lights.

    Some of these holes will destroy 40/50 series sidewalls the same.

    Regardless, these motorists that always run into holes are the same that will also run into objects on the road. Its not stupidity - their eye-brain processing just isnt there.

    You can train yourself if you want - as a motorcyclist this became a HUGE deal and I became a much more observant driver after become a rider. Road conditions, driver tendencies, expected maneuvers, etc.

    Before you besmirch Aspen's good name in your signature, can we make sure this pot hole is located in Aspen proper and not Aspen-adjacent, like west of 85th? ( )

    If that's the case, you might as well say "NE potholes are out to get you", as it's all the same at that point. TIA

    Upgraded to taller sidewalls. Is 5 1/2" enough?

    I believe that question is more appropriately directed to your wife.
