My mother recently got a photo radar ticket for 68KM/H in a 50 zone.
Would be interested if you could get this reduced at all.
Honestly, it was only for $155 so might not even worth it but interested in what you have to say.

99% of the time* they give you a reduction just for asking.

Yeah I had two green light camera tickets in one week. They just tossed one completely. I literally walked in, he said this is what I'm going to do and I said thanks and walked out. Waited for the cashier to call my name and that was that.

What struck me odd about the whole situation (re: ticket reduction) is that they pay multiple people to reduce tickets for a signficant portion of their day. Like "Ask for Ticket Reduction" is literally on their fucking queue sign! What a complete waste of money the whole thing is.

Yea it's a pretty inefficient system. Not only are they paying all those people at the courthouse, but what a waste of time for everyone to have to come down to ask for the reduction in the first place.

I think the idea with the reductions is that they're essentially cutting you a deal in exchange for just paying the fine instead of taking it to court. More efficient than ~400k trials per year
