Those RTZ look like something that auto-selects on tire rack when you look at winter package wheels.

    yuk

    RTO us much better

I honestly don’t like any of them... maybe RTY if I had to pick...

I like RTQ as a winter tire. But it's 20" so that won't work out anyways.

The wheels are my biggest issue. The wheels shown in the video aren't available if I order the AMG Driver's package for some bizarre reason. Only the ugly wheels from the press release are available. The only option I care about in the Driver's package is the Performance exhaust (don't care about the alcantara steering wheel which wears poorly or the track lap timer as it's a street car for me) but the exhaust isn't available separately. So either I get exhaust with the wheels I hate, or I get the wheels I want without the exhaust.

    Fucking FWP right here haha.
Can confirm, the wheels look great. Those are the exact ones I have right now haha. As others have echoed, I would definitely pick the PE over the wheels.

RVR would be #1 for me, closely followed by RTO.

Unrelated fact, RVQ are remarkably similar to the stock 1st gen ISF wheels.

20" RVR Summer, 19" RTO winter would be my choice.

On the bright side, my car will smell extra douchey.

I guess it would be alright if they made a new car scent loaded with all those paints and chemicals from the factory.

oooooooooh-eyyyy MB is pulling out all the stops these days eh? Massage seats in the front?! I thought that was a back seat maybach or S-class thing.

This sounds like a mini-vaporizer that allows you to chose the atmospheric environment in your car... I wonder how long it takes Dr. Dre and Snoop Dogg to get AMG making the THC infused version... "alright boys, windows locked, vaporizer loaded, by the time we get to Banff we'll be cherry-eyed and ready for some ice cream!"

We already ran out of luxury things to do in term of the 5 senses. Even a Hyundai Tuscon has cooled seats.

Ironically the AMG GT has them, they at perfectly capable of doing it. I think it does at least.

So bit of a Necro bump with a question for @rage2

Did your E53 come in yet? And did it cost you crack money like Lone Star wants for the CLS53?

    https://www.mercedes-benz-lonestarca...berta/16302076

Buddy of mine was telling me how much they were asking for these yesterday. That’s nuts when you can Get an E63S for similar money. Or an M5 competition (which is growing on me).

Mercedes moved the price up on the CLS. The difference in MSRP is around 10k between the E53 coupe vs CLS53. The gap is even bigger with the 450s at around 15k.

These are US numbers. Canadian numbers haven’t been announced yet. I have no clue how much my car is costing me.

That’s also the IWC CEO. More fun to think of him as a random douche racing to go watch shopping.
Oh, haha. I totally thought it was a random dude and wondered 'man how much did IWC pay for that placement"

I saw the CLS pricing the other day and was blown away from how much they were asking for it - I guess it was an Edition One, but still.

The trick with Mercedes is to wait until they run out of niche buyers for their niche products, and lowball the shit outta an in-stock car.
