Just gave the trees a giant haircut - may have gone overboard. The pool fence sucks but is necessary with little guys running around.

Technically there's a pool in the fence, and another one outside the fence without water.

Also, Jordan this is super creepy

My natural meadow look. These posts have been awesome seeing what everyone has is up to. Probably won’t do anything until next year though.

Have over 550 planted trees to try and maintain . I just made a deal with a tree company for them to dump all there mulch at my place if they are in the area. Last winter took a beating on a lot of the spruce trees, so they are slowing recovering.

    Future:
Would eventually like to build a fire pit area in the courtyard part.

Add some mulch to the fence line and add some low growing bushes in the backyard. The pictures only shows about half the backyard. Would like to build a water fountain area between the house and the garage.

All my trees died along my driveway so I want to plant some purple leaved trees and add some accent lighting to each one. Anyone know of any purple leaved trees other than the Schubert chokecherry? I've seen the Canada Red chokecherry but that's about it.

Here's the backyard we inherited when we bought the house last year. So far loving it. Good privacy for inner city and maintenance is not too bad, except the cement patio is a bitch to keep clean, especially with the crab apples.
