That's great, you clearly take good care of your physical appearance. Got any tips for being a better person on the inside? This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote
I'm trying to be less of an insecure douchebag who's constantly seeking validation and approval from strangers online.
I don’t really care what I eat, but also at 6’1” and 190lbs in my mid 30s I do shit like this on the MTB:
And really besides one day on the 21st this was all from the 2nd onwards… because I fell on the 21st.
I still believe most people just over eat and IF curbs that. The sensation of being full is a survival mechanism and unnecessary in the modern world. Hungry pains should be normal for most of the day but doing IF allows your body to feel satisfied for at least a portion of the day as you condense your intake to less meals. This is why I believe most people have success maintaining a reasonable weight with it (most won’t be ripped, but who gives a shit)
Biggest mistake I think the aging demographic makes is when they do something active they believe that gives them an excuse to eat extra, where in reality they probably only burned off enough calories to keep them in a moderate deficit.
Doing an activity that is track-able, and repeatable has given me great insight to my overall strength and cardio health, without anything I would consider a moderate lifestyle restriction drink or food wise, throughout my 30s I have maintained a 5-10lbs window and have increased not only strength but also endurance.
Keeping it simple has been the key. Do something that’s physically stressing, yet engaging… keep a loose IF/circadian rhythm most days. Take rest days and breaks as needed

So true, I love the -
'What do you eat that allows you to be obese?'
beer and bevs are a killer for holding pounds. havent drank since last wednesday and down 8 lbs with no significant change otherwise..
Gettin' spicey!
I drink 6 beers a day and have a 6 pack, isn’t that how it works?
This thread doesn't interest me, but I'm certainly not starting a new one to talk about alcohol Calories. This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote
There is simply no way that alcohol Calories are processed by the human body the same way as those from food and that should be tipping the whole CaLoriES iN & CaLOriEs oUt argument on its head, shouldn't it?
Are bottle-a-day alcoholics usually obese? No, I think they're usually pretty close to skinny. So how does someone consume over 1,700 Calories in liquor a day without turning into a walrus?! Even if they barely eat, they're still going to be at 2,700 Calories per day.
I think I drank an average of 8 beers per day, every day for the month I was on vacation and I certainly wasn't dieting. That's a metric shit pile of extra Calories. Didn't gain an ounce. Came home and didn't drink anything for a few weeks, didn't lose an ounce.
It's weird as Hell and I don't know why but those Calories from booze don't seem to follow the same rules.

Big Mac + Fries + Coke = 1110 caloriesThis quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote
Two slices of pizza = 700 calories
1 can beer = 150 cals X 4 = 600 calories
1 donut = 250 cals
1 bag chips = 250 cals
That's a lot of food.
For a little girl maybe

350cal/slice pizza sounds unappetizing… what is that? Vern’s T-Rex?
That's the thing that'll make him thinner.

The body is bad at turning alcohol into storable forms. Thats why full blown alcoholics are typically skinny. This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote
For the average joe, when you drink, you body now focuses on clearing that booze out of the system and all the shitty food you eat following drinking isn't being used for energy anymore but is usually stored as fat. Booze = slower metabolism, also Booze usually = shitter food choices
