    Cool The Beard Thread

So we have a shaving thread but nothing about beards!

I want to know if any people out there use products for their beards?

My beard is very thick and coarse and I'm finding it very uncomfortable at times. I'm looking at trying some beard oils if anyone has given this stuff a go?

    Lets here it!

Mammoth keeps my beard looking and smelling good. Local Calgary company, and Lee (owner) is a stand up guy!

And if your into that sort of stuff, check out the Calgary Fachial Hair Club on FB.

This is what I use for my beard every 3-4 days.

Anything past 4 days worth of scruff, makes me feel like a filthy hobo lol I don't get how a beard is tolerable in July heat, let alone with oil in it ewwwww

So I'm going to make a post here and it saddens me to say this as I feel it takes away a bit of my manhood.

But I got some beard oil for valentines day and I'm surprised at how well it keeps the flakes away.

    Awesome idea for a thread
^ What kind of beard oil did you get? I've started to suffer from the flakes.
Also, can anyone recommend a barber that can actually shape & trim a beard?

I can't grow a decent beard... I guess my family stopped dragging their knuckles a few million years earlier than others.

I cant help you with the hobo part, but there are lots of products that are "lightweight" and you dont notice it. Just saying

Heavy, stop using that multi-bladed junk and hit up the old school shaving thread.

Razors Edge does a good beard sculp. I get them to fade from a 1 by my side burns and get thicker as it goes down:

We stopped checking for monsters under our beds when we realized they were inside us.

I picked up the sampler of mammoth beard oils just after Christmas. They def smell good and help with the skin. Not to mention I was impressed that I ordered on a sunday morning and it was delivered at 9am monday with a signed note that said I hope you enjoy the product. I like the mammoth oils but have recently gotten into a different one.

I have a buddy that has a beard sponsorship (yes they actually exist) and he hooked me up with Apothecary 87 oil and I find they have softened my beard more than the mammoth did.

The other tip I got was to use wide tooth comb on your beard.
