OMAD is doable at least for me but I think it's cuz with the lack of sports and weights, I simply am not hungry and don't need to consume

I don't eat in the mornings so nothing new other than a large regular coffee/americano, I get super hungry around 2-3pm and if I have a large enough meal, that'll cover me for the rest. I find myself eating again around 9-10pm out of routine and boredom and not cuz I am hungry.

Been doing it on and off for a bit and don't notice any real changes so might stick to it. Not to mention saves money when you eat less food lol can't get fat, good for covid !!

Are supplements off of the menu when intermittent fasting?

I think anything that causes an insulin response. Like vit B's or C's.
But I'd assume vit D is ok.
If this is your biggest concern, I think you're doing pretty good.

My morning supplement is coffee. OMAD experiment died after a month. I'm 18/6 or 20/4 most days.

I've hit a plateau, but too lazy to research how to get past it.

I've been dressing free for nearly 3 years. When I started that, I found out that cauliflower is actually sweet and that other veggies have flavour.

Don't get me wrong, there are days where that bowl empties very very slowly.

I'm still down 45lbs (210lbs down to 165lbs) from when I started. Combination of putting the fork down and exercise.

I guess the true answer is to eat less, but fuck, some days I feel like I eat nothing. haha.

I wish I could go back to 18/6 but most of the time I'm doing 16/8 or shorter. weekend it is maybe 12/12 haha.

I just do it for maintenance although during Christmas holidays I do gain a few pounds but starts losing them comes spring since I'm riding more then.

Eat Vietnamese shredded cabbage or papaya salad with fresh herbs, some protein (shrimp, chicken, whatever), put fish sauce (nuoc mam) on top, some peanuts and/or fried crisp onions...
Low-ish calories with amazing taste and textures that keeps you satisfied for long term success.

Good job on the weight loss. But you certainly must know that a number of the nutrients in vegetables are fat-soluble, meaning you need some fat to absorb them. So, it's healthy in one way but not another.

My wife makes all our dressings fresh every time. Taste great, no sugar, and we know exactly what's in them.

bumping this, anyone still doing IF?

on weekdays I'm going to try do 22/2 20/4 or OMAD and weekend 18/6 so that I can eat normally with the family.

Working good so far and lost quite a few pounds already, you do get hungry the last 2-4 hours of your fasting so I just try to drink lots of fluids (water, tea) that time.
