    Yeah I got lazy, between Covid, no training, and my knee. Luckily I didn't bulk up much, about +8. I'm going hard on the week now. Back down to within half of that. I am hoping I can go below my lowest (180). 20+ hour fasts x 3 days a week. Right now I am on hour 25 of a fast and I probably won't eat until dinner tonight.

    I don't think this ever gets easier honestly, I suspect this is a natural cycle. Maybe I can just catch it sooner. I also think that your body adjusts to ANYTHING you do, including constant 16:8 IF. I can gain weight still on that. I think break weeks / months and changing it up like we're not able to find food is where it is at.

    I never got a photo at my peak weight of around 210. This morning, I hit my lowest since I was a teenager. Good 25-30 years.

    Minimum 16/8, many times it gets pushed to 17 or 18 due to all day meetings. When I left the office in March, I was 172-175.

    I'm trying to start 11am-6pm and see how that goes.
    10:59 this morning I looked outside at the incoming rain, and scarfed down 2 eggs and raced out to mow the lawns. Probably would have passed out without the eggs.

    Biked 30kms fully fasted yesterday before stopping for a beer... you get use to it. Burning stores is the goal

    For you guys doing OMAD, is it really just IF but 23/1?

    I did 21 / 3 yesterday and am going to try that this week. Starting to get hungry right now, lol.

    OMAD just works on the principal that you can't consume enough calories in one meal, right? I haven't done any research on it at all. Beyond knows all, right?

    I felt weird doing omad. I was really low energy. Not everyone has that issue apparently.
    Doing 2 meals a day, like a 18/6 kind of schedule, doesn't seem to produce any negative effects in me, so I mostly stick to that.

    OMAD is just OMAD, you eat one meal and done, no real need to get complicated with 23/1, could be 23.5 and .5 depending on what you eat
    You can definitely consume enough calories with OMAD, it all depends on what you make

    I have an easy time with OMAD if I'm busy, if it's the weekend and being lazy, it has it's challenges

    Im all for creative tricks, but my meals are way important to me to only have one a day.

    Skipping breakfast and snacks for IF I get. Benefits are great.

    But Lunch? Or Dinner?

    Yeah I've hit over 30 hours max so far. I prefer 21/3 instead of OMAD. I usually have a snack when I get home from the day 330/400 and then stop eating / drinking around 7.

    My wife has recently got into IF and she wants to jump into a 5-7 fast...
    I’ve done 2 x 5 days before and they’re brutal, would not recommend for anyone
