Default I need a scheduler app...

Didn't think this is really a computer topic, if a mod thinks it should be moved, cool.

I need an app for scheduling.

Mainly, I want a simple, clutter free system that I can easily organize.

I do not want a "calendar", or at least, its not what I envision wanting. I just need to be able to organize places to be at certain times in a day. None of this schedule is reoccuring, its all one offs for client consultations.

Google Calendar SUCKS. It is absolute garbage on android. Such a clunky interface.

I don't know if this would be possible, but it sure would be cool if I could put the locations of my consults into the app and it would map the most efficient route.

And have it be able to grab contact info and attach it to the meeting.

If outlook and google calendar are all that is available... Man, so much for 21st century.

Suggestions? I'll pay for such an app no problem.

Are you dead set on Android or do you have an iOS device?

The default calendar app in iOS does everything you noted including telling you when to leave for your next appointment based on location (and I believe current traffic but could be wrong on that part)

You are coreect on the traffic part...

It also finds new contacts and will ask to either add them into the "Rolodex", or update existing contacts if applicable...But again...iOS haha...

Fantastical 2. Not sure if they make it for Android though.

My google calendar tells me when to leave for appointments based on traffic.

Also, it doesn't take long to look at your appointments for the next day and just figure it out. Like literally probably less than 5 mins to figure out a whole day's worth of travelling.

Yeah, I'm struggling to figure out what functionality OP wants that google calendar doesn't have. Integrates well with contacts and maps (which have traffic and time-to-leave alerts).

    OP wants a personal assistant.

Outlook 365 does all this very well on iPhone mail/calendar. I have a few google calendars built into my iPhone as well as outlook 365 stuff for work and it all works great.

I’m sure android is perfectly capable of all this (google loves using your personal information to make recommendations to you) but I have never used it.

He probably needs someone to set things up for him. I would be surprised if google calendar on an android can’t do that while working so well on iOS.

I have found the stock android calendar apps accessing google account data to be shitty on two versions of Samsung phones. But the problems went away when I got the actual Google calendar app.

My family runs six different google calendars, plus I run three for my various business ventures. It's outstanding.
