Additionally, 1000 calories of protein will not be the same amount that is absorbed as 1000 calories of carbs or fat.. With all things together if you ate 2500 calories of just pure sugar, vs 2500 calories of a well rounded diet, you're gonna be lighter on the well rounded diet. let alone attempting to get to 2500 calories is a lot more challenging when avoiding the shit food out there
