LOL, someone is either trolling or has ego issues.

Anyway, my original point was that obese people, according to BMI horseshit, shouldn't be running at all.

Is there a correlation between ideal weight and Beyond baller status? Or a correlation between how much you lift and ideal weight?

I associate strongly with visuals - so a shit poster with unique avatars will stick out to me vs someone without. I havent noticed them before TBH.

According to the body fat calculator on that site I’m 6.6lbs away from perfect... which is actually a little heavier than my goal weight... should be 6 pack territory, seems close. I don’t lift heavy anymore though. Goal is a nice balanced body with emphasis on a strong back and core... arms and chest will just be what they are as all those muscles get some use in the other exercises... not trying to set deadlift or bench records

Can for sure feel the difference now though being down almost 30lbs. Lifting the front tire of my little baby ktm!

Yeah I can do a trail run in about 26-27 minutes. Switchbacks aren't that hard.

If I run at a 6min/km pace, it feels like I'm going in slo-motion.
Bet you I have a 5k trail run that takes you 45+

Trail run times are meaningless as its all trail dependent. So shitting on a guy when you have no clue the terrain makes you look like a fool

I miss the days of the lifting talk, and how we all made fun of flipstah for not eating enough protein in his threads.

Reality has me at 6' .05-1" and currently 235#'s. At this weight I have muscle definition through my back and abs so, could maybe lose 5 more pounds but what for?

According to that site, I'm 30lbs overweight. It's cause I'm fat.

There's hardly ever a line up there, what are you smoking.

I think the standards for this is strange, as you get taller seems less realistic. If i was my suggested weight i would look frail lol. Summer 2016 i was the lightest i have been in mannnny years at 219lbs. I felt like i looked too skinny. It's different for everyone but at 6'4" i like 230lbs, that's when i feel good haha.

Based on the Robinson formula (1983), your ideal weight is 181.7 lbs
Based on the Miller formula (1983), your ideal weight is 173.6 lbs
Based on the Devine formula (1974), your ideal weight is 191.4 lbs
Based on the Hamwi formula (1964), your ideal weight is 201.1 lbs
Based on the healthy BMI recommendation, your recommended weight is 152.0 lbs - 205.4 lbs

I'm not sure I ever understood these ideal weights. I guess they're guidelines but like the disclaimer says, it doesn't take into account muscle mass.

    I'm 5'6 so it says:

Based on the Robinson formula (1983), your ideal weight is 139.8 lbs
Based on the Miller formula (1983), your ideal weight is 142.5 lbs
Based on the Devine formula (1974), your ideal weight is 140.7 lbs
Based on the Hamwi formula (1964), your ideal weight is 141.5 lbs
Based on the healthy BMI recommendation, your recommended weight is 114.6 lbs - 154.9 lbs

I carried over alot of muscle mass from when I used to work out like mad so I will add 20lb to that number for good measure.....but I am still heavier than that

I'm neither within the ideal range, nor Canadian (over by 15-20 lbs), but I just got back from vacation so the timing of this poll couldn't be worse for me

Weight is a funny thing. At 6'3.5" and 230 lbs, I thought I had maybe 10lbs to lose before I started looking "too" skinny. Now I am sitting at 200 and still feel like I could lose 10lbs without looking skinny. According to the link, a recommended weight for a healthy BMI for me is 150-202.5lbs so I guess now I am considered 'healthy' but the idea of dropping to 150 and still being considered healthy is laughable to me.

I am 5'10" and 165 lbs, I have also been at 150 lbs before I started to focus on rebuilding muscle to get to the weight I wanted. I looked pretty damn skinny at 150lbs. 6'3" & 150lbs you would look like a post haha, hard to believe that would be healthy!

This thread reminds me of a reddit thread discussing BMIs, healthy weights, etc. where someone posted about how they were like 5'1", 280lbs, and claimed she didn't look fat because of how she carried the weight lol.
