    I'll say it: I don't hate it! The only unsightly thing about it is the Super 8 advertising. I'd even give the horns a pass haha

    The advertising is actually a wrap, underneath the yellow is a black on black with a black top caddy.

    I've got a Boom2 and at $100 that's a sweet deal. They sound great and can take a beating too.

    I picked up a JbL charge 3 a week ago when BB had them in all and it seems pretty good. Sounds good and more than loud enough for me.

    Picked up a UE Megaboom from bestbuy tonight for $180. Pretty good deal I’d say. Love it so far.

    UE Boom 2;
    Purchased for $99.99 at Best Buy on sale.
    I don’t have much to compare it to; but here’s my thoughts.
    Sound - 8/10 for the size the sound is great, but it definitely lacks the low end bass. The speaker is loud, but anywhere close to top volume it distorts and starts to sound crappy. Definitely impressed for normal listening.
    Ease of use - 10/10 super simple instructions, not a lot to screw up. First time you connect it gets you to download the app for it, easy to control, has a half assed equalizer. Volume can be controlled from the phone or the app or the speaker itself.
    Value - 8/10 when on sale at $100 from $180. I wouldn’t have been very impressed at full price lol.
    At the end of the day for what it is being used for it’s a great speaker and I’m happy with it.

    The beauty of the UE line is connecting all the speakers. We had 3 out at the lake this weekend all linked. Was awesome.

    One thing to keep in mind with all these bluetooth speakers is that the bass is very much limited by physics. You will not get good bass from a really small speaker. Even the larger bluetooth speakers with 2-3" drivers and passive radiators have mediocre bass at best - they sound punchier overall but are still extremely limited on the low end.

    I bought an Ankler SoundCore off Amazon for $50. Sounds very clear and still good at max volume, but bass of course is very limited. Very simple device, no app. If I don’t like it by end of summer I can just give it away for what it costs. I think it has more than a year warranty too and the online comments indicate good service from Ankler, if needed.

    How are you liking that speaker? I saw this deal came up for a 2 pack and considering it. Thinking it would be good to use in the back yard and have two synced up speakers.

    I'm partial to the JBL Bluetooth speakers. I've had a variety of them. Tough little things too! They have flown off the golf cart many times.
