Nice - buddy is absolutely killing it!

post before/after pics. Sending my 100 series out in October to get treated. Also doing the inside of the hatch/tailgate.
I'm going to inquire about my 100 series. Was October the earliest time you could get? Where exactly in the hatch are you thinking?

Can someone take pictures of the "wax"? It sounds like the wax is more like a literal wax, vs the greasy/oily black tar that ExtraSlow is talking about.

Does the wax get in the way/make a mess when working on a vehicle? Would be interested in doing this to the f150 as I've finally decided to keep it forever.

When I saw it last, it's only been less than a week but I see that the wax is a tacky sticky feel that wouldn't be too bad I'd imagine. And maybe it will be less sticky over time. My car still smelled like crayons when I picked it up but probably will go away. It definitely isn't a greasy oil tar though.

I would not reccomend a "black tar" kind of substance.

Few crappy after shots. Excited to see how it fairs after a winter season! No before photos; the rust wasn't too bad for an 09 but it definitely had some surface rust so it was nice to clean it all up and preserve it.

those before and after shots look great! I'm considering painting on chassis saver and DIY fluid film application. Anyone have experience with these products?

The oily sprays are quite effective. Fluid Film, Krown etc are all very similar. Need occasional re-application.

There's quite the youtube rabbit hole one can research all of these chassis saver products. The close to brand new looking undercarriages satisfies that automotive OCD. Tempted to buy a spray gun and go to town.

Just did a quote for ceramic coating from https://instagram.com/cerberus_resur...d=YmMyMTA2M2Y=

Saw they do under carriage, seems to be on par with sublime and local. Waiting for a quote now. Curtis gave me a call and appears to be extremely knowledgeable. Will post a review if I go through with i]the rust removal.

Any recent rough quotes for blasting the underside of a car? Just looking for blasting to clean it up, nothing else. Small 1990s car with lots of surface rust.
