The city has launched a program for residents to help identify animals in the city on one of its many trail cams placed in public parks all over the city

Each photo has to be identified as the same thing by 5 people for them to mark it as done. There are approximately 70,000 images collected between september last year to may this year.

There are alot of white tailed deer. So if you are looking for something to do and want to help the city...

They really need a better guide for mule deer vs. white-tailed deer! I definitely screwed up a few of those early on.

Edit: Ah, they actually have a pretty good set of examples under the Field Guide slideout.
