    Default Free air

I know there's an old thread regarding where one can still get free air for their tires. Never the less, free air is pretty much a thing of the past but I have noticed (and used) the Canadian Tire Auto Centers usually have a hose pulled out of their shop under one of the bay doors- free air.
    Will fuck off, again.

Some gas stations have a button the cashier can press to give free use on the machine. Just have to go in and ask for some free air, usually they always do for me. Just gotta ask nicely.

Though sometimes the employees themselves that work there do not even know about this, when it's there.

Buy a cheap air compressor on sale and then you'll have it home. Sorry but driving around and looking for free air is beyond ridiculous.... especially for "car guys". Not to mention there are so many other tools you can use it with.

Co-Op gas stations are free and always work when I've gone.

I was also tired of this so I bought 2 of these
    https://www.ryobitools.com/power-too...power-inflator
Home depot had them on sale for $19.99 at some point last year and they do the job. No issues with simple fill ups and I keep one in each car. During the camping season i keep one in the trailer as well. I have fully filled up a trailer tire with one, it took about 15 minutes and holding in the button was a bitch but it did the job.

Pancake compressor is a good tool and very worthwhile for a car guy. But yeah, coop, several city parkades, ama etc.

I don't have a "real" compressor. But i but one with a programmable digital pressure from crappy tire a few years ago that works great. Runs off the 12V in the car. Use it exclusively for tires but im sure its good for any use?

Just plug it in, dial in pressure, and wait until its done.

Those set and forget type are very handy. Especially of you have cars only and not larger truck tires that need 80psi.

I've got two compressors in my garage and another that's always in my Suburban but I've got a tire with a very slow leak and I just happened upon the free air at Canadian Tire so why not?

I think I have 3 of this exact one. Red plastic with black handles and blue backlit display? Great little pump. Especially nice in the winter. Set and go sit in the car

So oddly enough the Co-Op in Aspen I went to last week when my TMPS went off, they added $1 for air charge to the machine. Not exactly sure when that changed over and if that is all Ops in the city?

Yup! They make a few different versions of it but it’s a good little tool. Always on sale too.

Stop by our shop anytime we are open for air... I can't imagine any tireshop that is going to charge.

No kidding. If they did, they might as well just have a giant 'Fuk Off' sign at the front door of the business.
