The Avs are a one line team with the hottest goalie in the league in the last month. They lack depth which is why the flames win the series.

This. They are absolutely a 1 line team. It'll be a battle of goaltenders for sure.

Maybe we can outscore any minor goaltending issues.

Avs first line is faster and more dynamic than the Flames, but not by much. The 3M line did a great job shutting down the MacKinnon line all year, so would not surprise if they do the same this time around. Flames forward depth should win out in this one.

Flames defense is a massive upgrade on the Avs defense, so that should favor the Flames.

Grubauer is playing lights out for the past month, so he's bound to slow down. He started Washington's playoffs last year, but disappointed and the rest, as they say, is history. Varlamov had a good start to the year and tailed off, but I could see him regaining his old form come playoff time, should Grubauer falter. I'd call goaltending a draw between the two teams.

Flames has always played like shit when the opponent aggressively forechecks. Everyone does it in playoffs. Let’s hope Flames have figured it out.
