Hi, I tried this on a clean virtualPC, Hitmanpro with the subscription . I need Remote desktop ON , I entered a strong password . left the machine on for a few days and whatever files were there were locked which is fine..

Most Randsomware are not remote exploit but users shoot themselves in the foot clicking on links in emails and websites.

So I'm not sure what you are trying to prove with this Virtual PC when it just sits and not being actively used.

Windows 7 also ends in 2020 so you won't get patches any more by then. So get off Win 7 if you are worried about remote exploits.

Stop watching online porn. That's where 75%+ of the ransomware comes from.

Your post is extremely.. vague and uh... what?

RDP without security is like asking the entire world to try and hack your network.

Your post makes no sense at all. What are you trying to accomplish?

Using up to date W10 and not clicking on anything you don't trust is going to be prevention enough for 99.9% of people.

You an buy a W10 key on Ebay for like $10.

watching porn is not the case. i have read more into it and found that Ransomwear hackers use NSA leaked methods to get into Systems, I even set up a RDP on windows 10 virtual machine and got some sort of Ransomwear.

Using virtual pc allowed me to try different things.

Contrary to the statement, most porn reputable porn sites are somewhat malware/spyware/etcware free as they want people coming back, especially those that pay for the content. It's torrent sites, free online streaming sites, even religious sites that are the biggest culprits
