Coach Q is out in Chicago. One of the best coaches all time, I'm sure he won't be out of a job very long.

Maybe he ends up in L.A.?This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote
I don't think he will go to LA. He probably don't want to be part of a full rebuild. This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote
I think Edmonton will be a top candidate and Penguins could be another team.
St. Louis Blues... they love bringing back ex-coaches. Plus they have a solid team on paper.
Why would he go to Edmonton? They have McDavid but not a lot of anything else combine that with an owner that is too involved, horrible ex Oiler management (I use that term lightly) and cap trouble for the next 3 years. This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote

Can't see a team willing to pay coach Q more than $6M. He's gonna enjoy sitting on a beach collecting his paycheque similar to what Vigneault is doing.
Because out of all the teams that will be looking for a coach they are the one's who will be legitimate contender. This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote
Sure they have cap issues but it's not like he hasn't dealt with that in Chicago.
No chance he goes to Edmonton. This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote
Besides McDavid they are not a contending team (they have zero depth), they're in cap hell and they have meddling managements (and owner) at all levels.
St.Louis makes the most sense.
This guy is so useless. I'm glad he has that contract with the Oilers.
NHL Player Safety @NHLPlayerSafetyEdmonton’s Milan Lucic will have a hearing today for roughing Tampa Bay’s Mathieu Joseph.
Probably doing the Oilers a favor if they suspend Lucic. I'm thinking it should be 2 games for that goonery. This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote
Edmonton is not going to be a legitimate contender anytime soon. They have McGezus and little else. He wouldn't be stupid enough to take that job. This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote

Lucic is a giant loser, and that display shows exactly what the extent of his talent is at this level. Gamblin' Pete fucked that team, and he's likely out of the league after this last stint. His trade mistakes have been far too apparent over his career, he's had more loser deals than winners.
I guess I was wrong.
Edmonton Fires Todd Mclean and hires Ken Hitchcock
I just can't see him being around at the start of next season. Oilers are doomed with terrible contracts and sub par players. Sure they have the 'best' player in the world but he needs a supporting cast. Crosby has Malkin, Kessel, Letang etc. Kane and Toews along with Keith, Seabrook Crawford. Ovi has Baclstrom, Oshie, Kuznetsov, Holtby and the list goes on.This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote

nhlshop.ca has 30% off so I ordered an Engelland Vegas jersey
Thought Hitchcock was going to go 2 for 2, but Oilers went from about to win 1-0 to losing the game in 30 seconds.
