Was running my first modern deck, bogles. I was gonna play hardened scales, but I am still not 100% comfortable with that deck yet.

Yeah, UMA is crazy expensive. Best price I have found for a box pre-order is $375. But there is soooo much in those boxes, that i think it would be hard to not at least break even with them.

If you are not going to use it, I would sell / trade it ASAP. It's a cool card, but it is not worth that price, so I would sell it into the hype.

Yeah that's the plan, it's definitely standard playable but I think there's decks out there that will be able to knock it down a peg or two with tweaks.

I'd love to have this in control since the unbanning. Currently running a few Teferi's in Jeskai control and Bant Superfriends. Worth every penny IMO. Superfriends are worth way less now that my deck is no longer in standard. Way too slow in Modern.

Yeah, I would trade up while it's still hot if you're not using it. My Karn is almost worthless after Ravnica.

Currently looking for a couple Aether Vials, a Snapcaster Mage, 4 Logic Knots and a 2 Kitchen Finks.

It's hard to let go of somethings, but if I can get a couple of Vials or Snapcasters, so be it:

4 x Goblin Guide
2 x Stoneforge Mystic
3 x Bloodbraid Elf

a bunch of others in the $10-15 mark

And yeah, my Jeskai Control deck is currently running 3 Teferis right now. I am thinking 2-3 copies of JTMS in there would be good and dropping red all together and bringing in more counters and card draw.

I know there are a few commander players on here. Anyone doing casual commander and willing to take in a new player? or anyone interested in doing a home league pre-con thing that upgrades as we go?

Also, I made a commander deck with cards I currently have for fun, anyone able to make some suggestions for it? I brewed it this morning, but it is my first EDH brew, so I know it is gonna be mostly garbage LOL

I used to be into Commander, but games go on far too long. I find that Brawl and Oathbreaker are better formats for multiplayer as you can play a bunch of games and it won't drag out.

I didn't go in too deep on your deck, but it's decent. There are things you can improve. In general I would add more and cheaper auras so you can stack it up quicker. I'd probably scrap Ugin, Ajani, Chandra and Approach.

Some cards I would consider adding/replacing others in there:

Sol Ring
Eternal Witness
Winds of Wrath or Divine Reckoning
Mesa Enchantress or Sram, Senior Edificer
Danitha Capashen, Paragon
Valduk, Keeper of the Flame
Champion of the Flame
Helm of the Gods
Heroic Intervention
On Serra's Wings


Looks olay otherwise.

Let me know if you end up building an OB or a Brawl. We wouldn't mind taking in an extra player.
