Doesn’t seem to have happened automatically and forgot to cycle this morning. Will have to power cycle tonight (I should really get one of those smart plugs for this task)

Not too shabby. Would love to have that upload speed increased one day.
I can eat more hot wings than you.
They aren't giving anything. Shaw says "Speeds Upto" meaning that your mileage may vary with speeds. Depend on location plays a HUGE role in this as does the time of day. This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote
I've always seen higher than advertised with Shaw.
"Up to 600" means you may experience anything up to and including 600. If it's over 600, you are getting more than advertised. So yes, they are giving you extra compared to what they advertise if you receive significantly more than 600 Mbps. Over 50Mbps faster is pretty significant as that incremental amount is faster than many people's base internet. This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote
Times of day have never affected my speeds personally that I have ever noticed, always max.
What does it matter, we're all fools anyway
Getting 330 down without a power cycle on the old Cisco modem. Might get more after the reboot, will see later tonight.
Haven't they always just given 10% over to help a bit when things slow down around peak times? This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote
I always remember's getting like 82 on my 75 connection and around 165 on my 150
I don't remember much farther back than that, but as far back as I can remember I have always got more than advertised by more than 10%. My 150 was 177-180 which I think was the biggest increase. My 300 was a bit more than 10% and I haven't checked what my 600 is yet. This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote
So after a router reset I am only up to ~215 from 165. No change in upload.
Wondering if the Hitron I am using might not be capable of the new speeds. Will give it a couple days to see where it stabilizes at then might need to make a service call.

My Hitron is now topping out at 105 instead of the usual 175. Great upgrade.
I went from 170/15 to 333/16 Hitron in bridged mode.
My Hitron is capping out at 35/17 WIRED for fucks sake... after one service call, the clueless tech did nothing and said the node was overloaded. Shaw has a “master tek-neeeeeshun” coming on Thursday to figure it out. Our entire neighbourhood is complaining of slow speeds.(New part of Panorama) Thinking of going to Telus simple for their FTTH. Paying for 150 and getting 35 is a joke. We can’t even have a FaceTime call without it saying “poor connection” anymore. They credited us on our bill but that’s besides the point. Bullshit overloaded Shaw infrastructure.

Some idiot probably hooked the cable from their TV ouptut straight into the wall output and is feeding back noise into the node or something stupidThis quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote
Getting 330/16 from Hitron modem after a power cycle.
Even after the first “tek-neeeeeeshun” visit, calling Shaw support, they can see that the “levels are way out of tolerance” on our modem. Packet loss is through the roof and the speeds are deplorable. LTE is faster. Thing is, they can’t get a master tek-neeeeeshun out until Thursday so fuck me in the meantime. This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote

Cooking along at ~660 Mbps Downloads running right around ~82MB/s. Thank you Shaw. Next let's look at the upload speeds...
Getting ~530Mbps 3 floors away from my router on WiFi.

Was able to get a 320 down 15.8 up test on my iPhone last night, wondering if UniFi’s speed test server is saturated and that’s why it was topping out at 220 on my management dashboard.
Overall should be good times that’s for sure.

Well imagine if instead of writing that letter to the editor, she just posts on a car forum for car enthusiasts. That's Kritafo.
