Didn't power cycle, internet did go down and back up for me last night around 11:45pm for about a minute. After that, full speed.

Anyone else who has UniFi, can you get your DL on their Speedtest graphs to go above ~220?
It’s kindof a gimmicky function of the dashboard but I find it an interesting stat when graphed (aka the speeds never change regardless of time of day which pokes a big hole in the Shaw speeds vary by time of day myth from their old systems)

Where can I check this on the dashboard? This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote

If you have periodic enabled then statistics then speed test stats.
Otherwise you can run it manually on the main dashboard clicking speed test on top left.
Essentially this is what I am seeing at my gateway after the change at 1pm yesterday when I power cycled. Running a test Automated every 15 minutes.
Tested over 320 on my iPhone so it’s not Shaw, I figure it’s unifi’s servers limitation but 220 seems a bit low for an enterprise system lol...

Looks like because I don't have a USG, I can't turn that on. I just have the APs and am running the controller software off a pc.\

I thought I had read something on reddit about it not being accurate. I can only hit 220 on mine. This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote
Mine too, right at 11:45pm. I had full speed both before and after that though. Came back online by itself about 1 minute later. I assume it was an update or something else related to this increase. This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote
I’m glad it’s not just me haha.

Netflix's servers reporting even faster speeds.

320-330 down on speedtest, and up to 390 on netflix servers with iphone wifi after the modem power cycle
got 625 on speedtest and 900 on fast lol
GO FLAMES GO!
I am not on Shaw. I am with Telus and what I find interesting is that if I connect to the Telus router via Wifi I get speeds above 300. I am on 300/300. However If connect to a AP and do a speed test I only get around 200. Similar results also on the UniFi speed tests. I have no idea why. This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Ditto after 4 power cycles. 95/15.
Thats what I'm getting as well on WiFi on my HTC 10. Shaw Support said only hardwired connections get the full speed and only on some supported devices will get full speed but I call BS.This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote

Well imagine if instead of writing that letter to the editor, she just posts on a car forum for car enthusiasts. That's Kritafo.
Maybe with their hardware it's lower. On my Netgear R7000 I am getting ~530 Mbps on WiFi to my Pixel XL3 and that is 3 floors away from my router. I can probably get 600+ if I go closer to the router but I haven't tried yet. I never need that kind of wireless bandwidth anyway, so I don't really care, but wired I can use all they can give me.This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote
My UniFi AP’s are plenty fast so long as I don’t go through too many walls. I think this was an issue with the speed test server. This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote
Still, realizing 600mbps sustained over wifi is a pretty big ask. Again. Realizing.

Ahh I see. I'm just using their Hitron modem/router. Guess I'll try connecting my D-Link to it and seeThis quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote

Def. depends on devices and connection for wifi, you HTC10 does support wifi AC but needs to be pretty good signal strength for that to workThis quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote
I can't say for sure that is your problem or not, but that Hitron modem is junk so that would be the first thing I tried to rule out. Also make sure you're on an uncrowded 5Ghz AC band. This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote
Is the Hitron really that bad? Even if I’m able to get full signal everywhere in my house?
