Totally. We're going to figure out how to genetically engineer cows/chickens/pigs/lamb/etc. to greatly reduce greenhouse gases in the relatively short window we have to be effective. And we'll figure out how to make those technologies accessible and affordable, too.

As much as I'd like to believe that, it's far more likely that we'll all be eating less meat.

Um, yeah... Feeding seaweed to cows greatly reduces their flatulence... No need for genetic engineering. Although selectively breeding cows that fart less would probably work.
