310cad shipped for turbo, 440cad shipped for hotside. I'll probably weld a tube inside that flex because I've seen a lot of them collapse.

Edit: 66mm inducer on the compressor. Should be a good match to a stock 302.

I’ve got a 72mm BB Turbonetics around if it needs an upgrade.

LS400 would be my recommendation. Or Crown Vic or F150.

I hated the reverse rake on this thing so today I cut 1.5 coils out of the front springs, also swapped rear tires to 225/50R16 from 205/55. Lowered it about 2" in the front.

Looks good. Have you considered going with the thunderbird turbo coupe rear end swap? It has 3.55 gears and discs factory. Some might even have 3.73.

I had it in my ‘86 and it made a nice difference for barely any cash.

Yeah we'll see how much I hate these gears once it's boosted. It kind of worked out on the nitrous, was through the traps at 5500rpm in third. Sucked for 60ft though. And brutal on stock power hahaha.

Love the 5L action. Wicked gains with the nitrous btw. Can't wait for track times and burnouts.

I figure i'll share my super old vid of my 93 fox, 5 psi boost (powerdyne blower). Made 318whp/340tq Mustang Dyno. https://youtu.be/iD7-GX3WFIM

    Man that thing was sweet.

More parts rolling in. Planning a top end refresh, headgaskets, arp bolts, valve seals. Valve springs if I stumble upon a couple hundred bucks, but I'm trying to keep this project cheap.

Got a pair of ebay gates. May only use one. Also probably won't have a blowoff valve, or might use one of the used ones I have lying around.

I have like 6 intercoolers in my basement but none were the perfect size and configuration for the mustang project, so I just got an ebay one for like $120 shipped. Using the 36lb/hr injectors I pulled out of the M5 last month, also the stock M5 fuel pump (proven good for 450whp boosted v8). Last but certainly not least, a plug and play microsquirt setup from EFISource. Standalone PNP ECU for 650 bucks shipped. May not be the most feature laden ECU but it's enough for this project.

The stock ECUs in these cars are tunable but I would have had to buy a couple hundred bucks worth of shit from moates.net anyway, and the software and hardware are ancient. Microsquirts are at least from this decade.

Installed the microsquirt and wideband and boost gauge this weekend. Runs great!

Found some fucks to give this week and put in my subframe connectors. Turbo build gonna start in January. Been alternating daily duties between this and the Subaru I picked up a month ago.

Managed not to set the carpet on fire welding these in, so that's a plus.

No kidding, I've never been in a stock fox but even the "structural improvements" that ford allegedly made to the 94+ sn95 chassis were underwhelming compared to a stock 98 Z28. Flex city.

It's night and day. I did them on my SVO when I had it too and huge difference. Makes the car feel whole instead of like the rear is playing catchup to the front in corners.

And up next is an 8.50 cage with the pieces in place for an easier 25.3 upgrade, right?? Then it'll be SUPER stiff!

I'd have to put power in it first.

    Maybe if the 302 pops
