Yeah, I just happen to run into that original article. Many reports, including that one form Globe and Mail said they do enjoy 8% overall increase compared to industry standard of -1%-5%. So it works.

But in the end the focus will always be on age 25-44, and most businesses trying to attract that group and you just have to follow the trend within that group. Just like Starbucks ditching straws and goes to sippy cups.

That's is just tips on iceberg. Food will be a major issue that energy is only a tiny portion of that picture. Until we have Star Trek style replicators, having kids is bad for the environment, period.

Please we are nowher near overpolualted and food isnt an issue yet. Inequality and distribution is. We have a long way to go before we cull the greedy.

Pillution emissions canada and us have 3 to 4x the level of other modern countries. And thats average. The normal entitled asshole is probably 10x

Anyone who has kids is a hypocrite when it comes to sustainability. The only one that truly cares about sustainability is Thanos.

Does it help you to keep giving up by giving up?. Water is easy too. Especially if we don't use 4 barels for every barel of tar. But sustainability is for all things obviously. Dont be such a denier prancing around as a quiter

These days, when shopping in general, I look at how far something had to travel to get to where I'm at. If there's a price comparable item (+20% max) from a local or closer source, I'll buy that over a cheaper but more distant item.

I'm less concerned about sustainable farming at the moment, but that may change if the data warrants it. Right now I'm not convinced it does.

Look at how many complete retards are suckered in by A&W's phony bullshit about "raised with no antibiotics blah blah blah".
I don't eat at A&W but are they falsely advertising the no antibiotics, growth hormones, etc?

Any particular reason? Just "shop local" (which I think is a good thing) or some other reason?

Can anyone here confirm if it's true that the Illuminati have used A&W / McDonalds to deliver their hormones directly to the demographic for targeted sterilization? And also can prove big oil is linked to the Red River rebellion of 1869, and that Nostradamus predicted an ice-age dump clogging up David Suzuki's private jet restroom.

I don't want to single out anyone, but if you can answer the above you should probably be sterilized.

I try and shop as close to home as possible as well. Really, more energy is probably consumed by the transportation of goods vs the production of (most) goods if you are thinking "green"(whatever that means), but for me it is always about trying to deal local as much as possible...

No, but early on, it's basically give them an excuse to source beef outside of Canada.

They're greatly exaggerating something that isn't a real concern, the difference between their smug beef and that of another chain is so small it's laughable. It's a marketing home run and nothing more. You could even argue it's worse for the environment as it's a less sustainable growing practice. After all, if you don't care about sustainability - even at your own expense - then you're a selfish and mindless fool. Right Gestroll?

50%+ of this thread on ignore. Great Thread.

idgaf what people eat, quality ingredients and quality preparations. Aint getting that from any fast food joint so I would prefer they compete on cost.

If I want quality I am going for something else, what I am paying for at mcdonalds is my time.

    Also...

"But Consumer Reports said this car gets really bad gas mileage"

-"It gets 1 mpg worse than the other one you're looking at, but it's reliability is way better. Besides, you only drive 8k kms a year"

"Yeah, but that's really gonna cost me in fuel"

    -facepalm

Because big business is never wrong Juicero anybody?

The whole dotcom bubble? Give your head a shake.

New Coke? The list goes on you muppet. Advertising is half throw shit at the wall and see what sticks.

I can understand your confusion, given the fact that you've bought into the bike craze hook line and sinker but most normal folk don't give the slightest shit
