    Looks like if everything pans out, this would go through Q1 2019...and I'm sure would result in some layoffs for MEG employees.

    It would have to, since the only way this deal works is to cut MEG cost structure aggressively.

    The deal is a lowball before the elections. Considering the stock was $11 only 3 months ago before the differentials went up.
    But more importantly, the market has reacted and stock is trading at $11 today essentially making the Husky offer null and void.
    If Husky offered $18-20, shareholders might give it some thought.
