    Default Investment Tracker?

What are you guys using to track your investment performance?

I'm looking for something where I can enter my positions and then have it report on a daily/weekly basis the overall portfolio and individual holding performance. Graphs would be neat.

From doing research, there are a billion options. Which do you recommend?

Is there nothing built into your trading platform?

I'm using iTrade. The web-app version only shows monthly performance, and their flight desk software is pretty cumbersome.

Personally i just use a customized Excel spreadsheet for this. Would be interested in using a dedicated tool though so i'll watch this thread.

On a somewhat related topic, I do use www.adjustedcostbase.ca to keep track of my cost basis. Extremely useful if you buy a security multiple times... makes it very easy to calculate your ACB for when you sell (assuming you're doing nonregistered account trading).

For daily quick looks i just use a bloomberg watch list on my phone but it doesn't really do what you want.

the RBC mobile app is literal garbage, but there are some reports online the website that do what you say month to month and compares against indexes. Also not helpful...

www.simplywall.st appears to have a portfolio tracker option. I have not gotten deep into it, but it may be an option.
I use www.mint.com to track the historical dollar amounts of my various RSP, TFSA, etc values. It can connect to all your accounts, so one login to Mint and you can see the current and historical values of your accounts (from the time you first connected them in Mint). Unfortunately, Mint doesn't do FX, so if you have any US accounts it won't convert them to CAD.

Just signed up. Looks pretty good in terms of seeing each day change as well as position ROI. Needs moar graphs, though.

Google Finance had the best free portfolio tracker by a country mile, but they killed it because fuck you Google.

they have some good graphs for individual stocks and exchanges, but i agree, it would be nice to have some reflecting the performance of your portfolio

the other thing to do under "my portfolio" is to click on optimized view and then customize what you want to see
