Default Accessing an old SCSI hard drive

I have an old piece of equipment that uses an internal SCSI hard drive with a 50pin connector on it.

I'm not sure how I can go about accessing the information on it and creating a backup, or hopefully creating a clone of it down the road. I can't find an adapter that would allow the drive to be adapted to a modern computer, so I'm wondering what other options are out there, or if someone has an old computer with a SCSI controller that could help me get this sorted out.

Anyone out there with experience with this older type of hard drive?

    It's a Quantom Fireball SE 2.1GB drive (https://www.cnet.com/products/quantu...-series/specs/)

    Thanks!

Your going to need to find some really archaic hardware unfortunately if you need the data.

If it's really important, you can go to one of those computer recycling places throughout the city and see if you can pick up an old computer that has a SCSI card inside of it. You should be able to find something, and cheap too...

Thanks for the replies everyone, feeling like my hands might be tied on this one. I have a feeling the hard drive might be pooched anyways too...it's an old piece of medical equipment that's been rock solid til a week ago, so I was hoping to recover information on it rather than replacing the whole piece of equipment.

    Thanks!

haha, no i think it's some proprietary linux based OS, its getting close to 20 years old now, so probably due for a change, would be nice to get the information off of the drive so it could be ported to a new unit though

    Bump !!!

Looking to check an old 30G Hard drive for data before I trash it.

Anyone have a SCSI to modern adapter I could borrow.

I would prefer to not have to buy a one time use adapter.

Would rather trade a 6 pack or Karma, Rep,,,etc...
