Default What other cars do you sport bike riders nod at?

I've always noticed I've gotten head nods from guys on nice sport bikes in my previous 350Zs and now my 370... I've never been in the sport bike world so it's confusing but I appreciate it, what other cars do they nod at? On another note, do you wave at other cars that are the same as yours? I only wave at other Zs...

I had a work assistant who i noticed in the passenger seat would give the 2 finger salute to passing motorcycles. Down low. so i couldn't make fun of him.

The only cars I nod at on my bike are exotics that nod at me first. Or friends I catch on the road.
When I'm on my bike, I could care less about cars, whether it's a 350z, an RX-7, or an R34. As long as they're not running me over.

I used to wave at other Subaru's when I drove one, but there's far less waving in the S2000 world.
That being said everyone waves at the mini.

    Motorcycle nod is dumb.

I never gave the nod to people. Same with "the wave"; never return it.

Oooo look, we're both on two wheels. I wonder if they wave at every other car when they're in their car too.

There's no confusion, they're just falling asleep and your exhaust is suddenly waking them up.

Waving at other cars that are the same as mine, have never done that. Decades ago, used to give a quick finger nod to other bikers when on the highway but less so in the city - Harley riders were above such though.
    Will fuck off, again.

Its usually just the enthusiasts who wave. Not every motorcycle rider is an enthusiast. Just as not every car driver is an enthusiast. I wave because I appreciate the other motorcycles on the road. I'll also give thumbs up at nicely modified cars or the classics. I personally wouldnt wave at a stock 370z. It takes a split second to make a gesture, and the other person feels good about it, so why not. I don't wave every biker in the city though, because many are just commuters. Out in the mountains, I wave them all because most of them are enthusiasts and 99% wave back.

Yeah I don't care. I wave and nod, whether you're put-putting around in a little 125cc or fat hog. What's wrong with acknowledging a fellow enthusiast or someone who shares a common interest as you? I find I'm more likely to get a wave/nod than not. And if you don't wave or nod back, that's no skin off my back. I'm just out enjoying a ride on a nice day and having a good time. As far as I'm concerned, it's no different than pulling up to a light and saying, what's up, nice weather, and have a safe ride.

Quite honestly, I think it says more about you than it does me if you feel so negative about it. Seems like a really stupid thing to get worked up about.

Going back to the original topic (even though I don't ride a sport bike), I'll nod at cars that you don't typically see, like hotrods, jalopies, nice classics, or something unusual. I don't even care about supercars or anything like that. That said, I'd be nodding while in my car so it has nothing to do with being on a bike.

Not bike related but I've thrown the claw at probably a few dozen people over the years. Have had it returned a few times..

Yeah well I wonder how they get the soft flowing caramel inside the Caramilk bar but you don't see me making a god damn thread about it. Slap your wife Baygirl, straighten him out.

    Jamie Jacobsen?

He was 18 when he stole that car in 2008, so he'd be what, 28 years old now?

I google searched his name out of curiosity, didn't turn up much. He probably goes by an alias these days and stays out social media as much as possible. Then again, if he was stealing cars at 18... probably in jail somewhere
Wow that's ignorant... lots of people do stupid stuff like that at 18 but go on to become responsible, contributing members of society.

When I'm on my bikes, I once waved/gave thumbs up at a new Jaguar F-Pace. First one I ever saw. Now I see at least 10 different ones within an hour of riding. Nice cars, but damn, seems like everyone has one around here.

I always wave/thumbs up to Genesis drivers whether I'm on my bikes or in my Genesis. Even talk to them at red lights. Rarely ever see them here.

If I waved at everyone driving a white Ram 1500, my arm would be permanently up in the air. haha.

The Lawless car crew in Red Deer seems to give me a nod when I'm on my CBR.

EDIT: I wave at everyone when they ride two wheels when I'm on my bikes.

I used to get the nod in my HPF M3. That’s because I would beat sport bikes up to 600cc’s from a roll and earn my nod haha.

I almost feel like he could have just run with it, used the claw branding to launch a shady business of some kind

"The Claw Import Cars" for instance
Maybe he's now a big figure in the underworld lol he would make a great villain

To be fair anything under 600cc is a moped by sport bike standards
