I've got this one: https://www.amazon.ca/gp/product/B00...?ie=UTF8&psc=1
And it's surprisingly good. Good night quality too.

So do you leave them on all the time ? Or do you turn them off when you want to speed or do some hooligan ... or do you record you breaking the law...
Always recording. If I'm pulled over (not that I do anything that stupid anymore)... "Oh that dashcam officer? Yeah, hasn't worked in years, doesn't even have a sd card in it"This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote
Have one on each vehicle.
A Blackvue 650S-2CH in the car and a Thinkware F800 Pro in the truck.
Reason I spent more on these is because of better footage like low light video quality and additional features.
Reason I got the F800 Pro instead of the Blackvue 750S-2CH is because of additional features in the F800 Pro. It warns me of red light cameras and has collision warning as well.
have both hooked up to a power magic pro so it records even when the car is off and prevents my battery from draining.
Both cameras have motion sensors so when the car is off, it'll turn off if it doesn't detection any movements.
Glad I have one. A few weeks ago I was driving on 11th Ave when a Pathfinder pulled out of street parking and hit me. Then the guy claimed that I hit his car while he was parked.
Video says otherwise and sent it to insurance.
Poor truck =(This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote

I lent my 4Runner (that I bought from LDS) to my cousin and her fiancé when they moved to Canada, only intending to loan it to them for a month or two while they get settled, they ended up having it for 4 months (fucking annoying and costing me money) until one day I got a call at work that he had rolled it onto it’s side while driving with another friend of mine. By that point I had bought ANOTHER 4Runner to replace that one because it was all but not coming back to me already it seemed like, so I rushed out to Canmore in my truck and met them. He claims he swerved to avoid a moose on a gravel road but I think it’s bullshit, where he claims to have crashed it’s a sheer drop on one side and practically mountain face on the other side, unlikely that he would encounter a moose running straight across the road like he claims, pretty sure he was going too fast and ran out of talent. Truck is pretty messed up on the passenger side now, but it’s still going 50k km later. This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote
I made him pay me for the truck too, he wanted me to claim insurance for him hahahaha
I miss that 4Runner. I wish I kept it.
