That's entirely possible. I'd be blown away if it could be done in less than 3, so for a quote to be 5hrs is in the reasonable ballpark IMO.

Buy a spring compressor and do it yourself.

I had my X5M done at GarageBox. Don't remember what they charged but I remember it being the cheapest than all the quotes I had gotten. It was still $600-$700 at least. It's a long job and takes a few hours for sure. Ironically the springs themselves were only $500.

I’ve got a couple days off. PM me and maybe we can work out a cash deal if you’re interested.

They want to have the car for 2 days to make sure all the suspension components are good also, and also sewing that my model of impala they don't make lowering springs for so you have to use lowering springs for the 1997-2003 Pontiac grand prix on my 2013 impala

Same chassis so the springs won’t be any different. Be sure to get an alignment done.

You won’t know until you get the alignment done. Why do you need camber bolts in the first place? Many cars have enough adjustability in the stock suspension components to deal with a mild 1.5”-2.0” lowering.

Car is 5 years old. Rusted bolts and suspension = the 5 hrs they charge. 1hr per side plus an hour buffer. Seems right. Maybe even under quoted.

Yes, you don't want to lower on stock shocks
