It's been ages since I've gotten rotors turned. I think it used to cost ~$5/rotor to have machined down (if they're not close to the minimum thickness).
Preferred recommendations in the NW if possible.

Most shops have a brake lathe, and it's definitely not going to cost 5 bucks a rotor.

Depending on the vehicle, it might be cheaper to buy new discs. I recall the mistake I made years ago when going to CT to fix my front brakes. They ended up turning the brakes, but it was 40$ per side, when brand NEW brake discs would have been 20$ per side.

For common cars, if you are halfway mechanical, you can easily buy new from rockauto or similar for less than getting somewhere to turn them.

Thanks for the response guys. I actually do almost all of the mechanical work myself and buy new each time vs. running turned rotors. However there's one set of Endless I have which is special order from Japan ~$500/pair, I had forgot to spray it down with a petroleum based lubricant prior to storage and there's a bunch of corrosion which formed on the surface that I couldn't "buff" out with the wire wheel. Just just looking to have the surface lightly machined to expose new material.
The other set of rotors I have had some pad deposits formed on them, replaced with new Brembo blanks on the car, but wanted to have a spare set kicking around. Again, just looking for a slight shave on either side to remove the deposits.
The last time I had gotten rotors turned was back in the mid-late 90's back round then it was ~$5/rotor @ CT; I've always replaced with new as the rotors got worn to minimum thickness.

Had the same problem as you. Specialty Wilwoods that I needed turned.
McCall brake and Muffler did them, and I even bartered down to $50 for the pair. They turned them three times.

Maxx Mazda - Thanks for the lead. Too bad I don't turn enough rotors to justify having a brake lathe. The last time I did a DIY it was back in HS autoshop.... damn that was ages ago! lol
