Agreed. I am currently pulling an average of 13l/100km 75/25 hwy/city with my 3500HD. My wifes Q5 is only marginally better at 11L/100km.This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote

My mom has had a 2014 GLK 350 since brand new and I couldn't imagine a more mind numbing vehicle. To be honest, there are many others like that but it's definitely not something I would consider for myself. But I also think my wife's 2017 Q5 is boring as hell too, but GLK, I don't even like the looks. Anyway, all that is subjective so if you like it then that's all that matters. We haven't had any issues with ours at all other than the regular maintenance. That being said, she's put less than 30K km's on it in all this time.
Bought the 225,000km one today for $9500, absolutely clean carproof and regular maintenance..I have to admit I have to get used to the boring drive but otherwise I like it so far... not sure how long I'll keep it though, maybe sell it before winter lol the manumatic function is not too bad... love the interior even though it's the old one.

Yes the golf is great for room.
Update, a week after buying I had a yellow engine light come on, pulled the code (very pleased it didn't need a special reader like VWs/Audis) and it was a common P0128, changed out the coolant thermostat and so far so good, also replaced a side marker bulb and knock on wood everything is perfect now..... hope it lasts a long time without headaches. Also filled up gas for the second time, 11.5L/100km mixture of highway and city (91 octane) using the comfort mode, not bad but would much rather use manumatic/sport mode. My stick shift Z gets roughly the same mileage but I tend to drive that a little more aggressively... either way the mileage is way better than vehicles I've had in the last. Love the look of GLKs more and more and the interior is pretty well built, very impressed with the quality, my first Benz. All in all, really glad I switched to it from a G37X coupe.

The reliability issues will put you in the poor house! With these junky European cars being made these days, all I can say is if you can't afford them new you definitely cannot afford them used!
