Default Review : Deer Head Cafe - old school breakfast

Not trendy, but cool in a very old school way. Located on Edmonton Trail NE, Cash only.

Same nice Chinese lady working every day. Her husband handles the kitchen.

Basic, reliable, satisfying breakfast. It's my go-to. And only nine years ago. I had never tried it!

My breakfast today, the special, two eggs over easy, sausage, hash browns and brown toast.

You realize you are talking to the guy who made his own furniture out of salad bowls right?

We have been there before, a few years ago. I like the food, and the folks running the business. Definitely a hole in the wall place but I tend to like places like that if the food is good.

I should have mentioned, that meal pictured, including coffee and tax, was $9.45. Very good value.

I love Deerhead Cafe, super nice people, super good food, and super good price. Only cash only though and the crowd can be rough sometimes haha, but other than that great place.

Yeah well I wonder how they get the soft flowing caramel inside the Caramilk bar but you don't see me making a god damn thread about it. Slap your wife Baygirl, straighten him out.
