I went through Sonnet, been happy so far, beat everyone else by about 10%
I also switched to Sonnet on the Porsche because I can switch it on and off as much as I want right from my phone, where with Meloche-Monnex I used to have to call them every time I wanted to take the car out.

The cost went from $135 per month to $85 per month but every review I've read is a horror story of non-payment. Can anyone confirm they're easy to deal with in a not-at-fault accident?

Holy shit really? I'm going to switch to them, I am liability only so I don't care about service, but the ability to toggle my Firebird on and off between summer/winter and just generally being busy would be awesome.

Didn’t want to start a new thread but had a question..

My wife got a distracted driving ticket just over 2 years ago, and it hadn’t really impacted our insurance at all. Last week she got an email from our adjuster saying that the insurance companies will no longer offer section 3 coverage for anyone who has a distracted driving ticket for up to 3 years. Is this true? Sounds like bullshit, the rest of her driving record has been clear for nearly 20 years..
It sounds like the underwriters didn't pull an abstract on her for a few renewals (pretty common practices TBH) and for whatever reason they did this time around. Most insurance companies rate distracted driving in the same category as driving without due care & attention or careless driving (not impaired as someone suggested).

Yes and I paid $37 per month over the winter for just fire and theft.
I actually phoned them and asked if I had some sort of limit for how often I could switch and she told me they didn't care, I could do it every day. I'll probably switch it off now just because it'll snow for a few days.

TD app lets you use your phone to put your car in storage and take it out. There’s actually a button labelled “store vehicle”

I literally phoned them just to ask if I could do that myself and was told no, that was not possible. I was told I have to call every time to switch it and I even provided that as the major reason for me to cancel with them, they still didn't mention it.

Likely because of all the frozen battery claims...

Td Meloche and TD used to be quite separate. Wouldn't surprise me if they had different app capabilities.

TD has lots of “buttons” that in my experience tend to redirect to a page to “call this number”
