Well imagine if instead of writing that letter to the editor, she just posts on a car forum for car enthusiasts. That's Kritafo.

    Well, I am totally shocked!

Got our renewal papers recently, and for the first time in 4 years, there wasn't an increase in my premiums. Seriously, i was getting sick and tired having to swallow 15-25% increases YoY, with zero tickets, claims, or anything.

Didn’t want to start a new thread but had a question..

My wife got a distracted driving ticket just over 2 years ago, and it hadn’t really impacted our insurance at all. Last week she got an email from our adjuster saying that the insurance companies will no longer offer section 3 coverage for anyone who has a distracted driving ticket for up to 3 years. Is this true? Sounds like bullshit, the rest of her driving record has been clear for nearly 20 years..

Sounds like you need quotes elsewhere to fact-check that. Your current insurance company has less incentive to offer you competitive rates than literally any other company. Start calling around.

Was it altadore? Might be deserved in that shit show haha

I just don’t get how they can change there mind after 2 years. Like, “sorry we can no offer you full coverage for 1 year because of the distracted driving ticket you got 2 years ago, even though we’ve been insuring you this whole time with full coverage.” Fuck off

The exact same situation happened to me as well as cancelling the insurance on my ATV outright. (that wife will never operate)

Distracted driving is treated the same as a DUI.

We’ll kind of a blessing in disguise I suppose.

Called a few places, got a wicked deal from all-state and she can keep full coverage. Saved like 20% overall

Hope one of them worked for ya!

I just got my renewal through, my price has increased by $3.82 per month, vehicle only with Sonnet

I wondered if anywhere was cheaper so did some shopping around, but everywhere else I tried was going to be $40-$50 per month more

My home insurance has now officially gone up by 50% since 2017.
Tiny increase, increase, massive increase, massive increase, tiny increase.
    No claims. Climate emergency.
