Yeah that's baller, 3 cars and 1 house is about the same and I still think Bill got me a good deal.
Cos...
Both our auto and home insurance policies just came up, auto went down about 5%, home went up about 1
3%. Property taxes also went down so win, win offset the small home insurance increase.
Will fuck off, again.
Ok want to get this going again in the new year. Just got my renewal from my broker for 3 cars for $4200 up from $3300, a 30% increase. we are through Pembridge and they have no contract with them anymore. I read through and Pembridge may have some issues recently. I do have a house/auto discount as well. What are the typical increases in auto for insurance recently. Will need to shop around here and talk to a few people.
Threads comparing inurance costs are pretty useless. Shopping around for real quotes for your real situation is what you need to do. Make sure one of your calls is to Beyonds friendly local broker.

Have not had to make a claim so, no real thoughts on RSA. But...
Well fuck. So much for better rates. Just got a letter informing me that Intact has acquired RSA.

I've been with RSA for the past 6~7years, no claims no complaints.
Just received a letter from RSA and it's INTACT now lol.
So Intact is now charging interest for monthly payments it seems. Anybody else get this?
Been like that for years, most insurance companies are doing this now it seems. This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote
I switched to Allstate, same thing. They even take downpayment payments (first and last month of the policy upfront).
I'm going to see if they have a cash paid upfront deal.
If I don't pay my TD in full annually they have a fee for making it monthly.
But we're all benefiting because with all the money they save they always pass that right onto the custo... Oh wait...
lol a repeat of the saga I just went through.
Pro tip, once you agreed to pay up front instead of monthly you can also pay with a credit card instead of PAD.

Yep, we pay yearly so we can put it on the credit card for those sweet sweet points and lack of monthly interest fee.

Well imagine if instead of writing that letter to the editor, she just posts on a car forum for car enthusiasts. That's Kritafo.
