If they were after initial mall success the developer should have sold only to individuals who had a written Business Plan for their unit.
Although the developer was paid regardless so they likely don't care.
It's been pretty funny driving by this every day. Yesterday was the busiest i've seen it, with a total of 15 cars in the parking lot facing the highway. Crossiron mills was standing room only at the same time.
Sooner or later Bass Pro is gonna get the blame for scaring away potential investors because they sell evil scary deadly guns there within such a close proximity... that whole area is redneck central, what were they thinking building a mall of such a theme there? Either it was a stupid decision from the start or a group built this failure with for the purpose of losing/laundering money.

The group that built is was genius. Taking full advantage of Asian real-estate investors. The Torgan Group made a fortune off those people. This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote
It's some kind of cultural dream for a lot of Asian and south Asian families to own their own business and real estate.

I don't understand how more and more businesses are coming into the mall. This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote
Surely when you see it's a ghost town you have to realize that selling $1 earrings or smart phone covers from amazon is not going to be a viable business????

Everyone wants to sign a cheap lease while there is deals and hoping to end up there right at the tipping point that things get busy....This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote
But also I have no idea, i can't see it picking up steam all that fast.
This was posted early January:
Sixty-seven shops are up and running, and another 60 are available to move in.
“We’ve actually broken our goal,” explained Rashed. “And we will exceed every goal we have in the future.”
Rashed said the mall’s target is to have half of the 517 stores filled by June 2020.
what lol...Rashed said the mall’s target is to have half of the 517 stores filled by June 2020.
Went to check out the neon sign place... closed down apparently.
Decided to stop at the boardgame place for a majong set... didnt have any
Stopped on my way out for those ice cream roll things... lady needed to work on her technique, and her mobile credit card device thingy wasn't charged so she needed to take cash... lucky I had some
Rest of the place is a ghost town, felt really weird, you could see the anguish on the faces of the shop owners.
Sooo yea probably not going back in the near future

I can imagine its the same reason the USA spent $150 Billion to get a half a house worth of drywall material from the moon. Gotta spend the money on something I guess?
DXY 100
Checked out NHM for the first time, I can see the board game place might get specific clientele’s supporting. Like that DnD place t by Chinook theatre side, been there forever.
Then went to crossiron back to back, still favoured by people of colours over NHM I guess. Can’t believe marble slab came to $8.50, how do you Beyonders raise a family and drive baller cars?

My list of random For Sale (some free) stuff
I haven’t seen the NHM board game shop but if it’s like the DnD shop in chinook I’m guessing you have two types of customers. Adults with jobs and a vehicle that do that as a past time and then you have the kids/students who if they have time to play board games at a place with any regularity means they probably don’t have a job and probably don’t have a car, so they need something on a transit line. So this NHM has eliminated at least half its walk in customersThis quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote

went there once last year to check it out and saw that board game store.
made me think that some of these booths would make a great location for Tamiya mini 4WD tracks.. not popular in North America but fun to mod and race
